About us

Atlaseha stands for the Atlas of Iranian Experiences

We connect people with local hosts: insiders in every city who know something up close and firsthand, and are glad to share it with you. Not a packaged tour, not a brochure. One person, one story, one day.

On Atlaseha right now

Experiences that come from people’s hearts

A few of the experiences our hosts run, or have run.

Rasht

Story-driven Rasht tour with an Iranologist

Walk the alleys of Rasht with someone who studied Iranology and knows the story behind every corner of the city; stories you won’t find in any guidebook.

View experience
Archaeology

A day in the Stone Age, with Dr. Milad Hashemi

A Paleolithic archaeologist takes you back to the Stone Age: humans, tools, fire. If you’d rather visit a museum, he also leads a prehistory museum tour.

Workshop

Making edible candles in a cozy café

A quiet afternoon in a café, hands busy making something, and candles that are your own work from start to finish.

Night sky

Watching the Perseid meteor shower

Away from the lights of Tehran, under a sky where you can count the shooting stars.

How it started

From Tehran, since 1405 (2026)

Atlaseha started in Tehran in 1405 (2026), and its site opened to everyone in Mordad of that same year (August 2026).

The idea was simple: every city has people who know something better than any book or sign ever could. One knows the history of its alleys by heart, another is an archaeologist who reads the stone tools of early humans like a book, and someone else knows how to turn an ordinary afternoon into a memory. We built a place where these people can become hosts, and where everyone else can find them, book with peace of mind and show up.

How it works

Simple for guests, fair for hosts

Everything happens online, and the money is held in trust by Atlaseha until 24 hours after the experience starts.

If you’re a guest

  1. 1

    Find

Browse experiences across cities and use the city, category and price filters to find exactly what you’re looking for.

  2. 2

    Book

Choose a day and time and pay through a secure Iranian bank gateway, which requires an Iranian bank card. No extra fee is added to the price.

  3. 3

    Show up

Meet your host, spend time together and come home with a story to tell.

Guide for guests

If you’re a host

  1. 1

    List for free

Creating a profile and listing an experience costs nothing. Our team reads your experience and publishes it.

  2. 2

    Only when you have bookings

Atlaseha’s fee is 10% of each booking and comes only out of the host’s share; guests aren’t charged anything.

  3. 3

    Your money is safe

The amount for each booking is held in trust until 24 hours after the experience starts, and then released to the host’s account.

What matters to us

What we stand by

Real people, real stories

We’d rather have an experience a person builds from what they know than a packaged tour.

Respect for local communities and heritage

Hosts come from the very city or village where the experience happens, and experiences should respect the people and heritage there, not consume them.

Transparent prices and rules

The price you see is the price you pay. Read the cancellation and refund rules in the booking rules before you book, too.

Verified hosts

Hosts’ identities are verified before their experiences are published, and the blue check next to their names says just that.
